Import Restrictions

Sender should determine import restrictions from the country's authorities before posting:

• alcohol beverages
• animals and animal products
• bedding
• bees
• Brazil nuts
• butter
• drugs, prescription and non-prescription
• eggs
• films
• foodstuffs
• fruit
• grain samples
• hides
• margarine
• meat and meat products
• medicines
• plants and parts of plants
• securities payable to the bearer, obligations of payment etc.
• semen
• vegetables.

Prohibited Items

In addition to items considered non-mailable matter, the following are prohibited:

• antiques
• animals
• asbestos
• coins, imitation
• currency
• furs
• ivory
• lottery tickets and advertising
• labels or markings resembling the official marks or seals of Danish Customs
• pornography
• powdered milk
• precious metals and stones
• psychotropics
• stamps and securities, imitation
• tobacco and cigarette papers
• weapons, including firearms, crossbows, knives, clubs, knuckle-dusters, etc.
